Property Administrator

About The Role As a CBRE Property Administrator, you will coordinate a variety of departmental and financial activities. The role is onsite in New York, NY, and focuses on operating buildings on behalf of clients or client groups.
What You’ll Do
Assist management with administrative tasks including answering phones, communicating with tenants, preparing expense reports, digital and physical file management, mail and courier handling, and supply ordering.
Maintain records and files of building office operations, ensuring all are up to date and in compliance with company policies.
Maintain all Certificates of Insurance.
Review, track, and process accounts payable and receivable invoices, including vendor payments and monthly tenant statements.
Work with the building operations team to compile and monitor maintenance items, opening, coordinating, and tracking work assigned to various departments.
Develop good tenant relations by managing requests/complaints and resolving issues through an electronic work order system, directing inquiries to appropriate departments.
Liaise between tenants and building management, distribute updates, schedule meetings, and support tenant events.
Recognize and address typical and atypical problems in your work area.
Impact the team through high‑quality service and information.
Follow standardized procedures and practices, receiving moderate supervision and guidance.
Communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
Prioritize multiple tasks with strong attention to detail and organization.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Perform other duties as necessary.
What You’ll Need
High School Diploma or GED with 3–4 years of job‑related experience.
Comprehensive understanding of processes, procedures, and systems within the role.
Ability to evaluate and communicate complex content concisely.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook.
Advanced math skills, ability to compute percentages, discounts, and markups.

Benefits Compensation: $70,000 – $79,000 annually ($33.66 – $37.99 per hour). Additional benefit details are available through CBRE’s standard benefits package.
