Electrical Estimator - MSG – Advanced Technology Group
Location: Greater Phoenix Area, Arizona
Annual Salary: $110,000 – $150,000

Responsibilities
Prepare detailed electrical estimates for construction projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, and time requirements.
Review blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
Evaluate and recommend electrical systems and products based on cost‑effectiveness, reliability, and safety.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors on job cost estimates.
Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends, new product developments, and the price of materials and labor.
Conduct risk assessments and implement electrical safety standards throughout all stages of project development.
Provide technical support and advice to project teams, as needed.
Regularly review and compare actual project costs against estimates and identify reasons for discrepancies.
Attend site visits, pre‑bid meetings, and client consultations as required.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years experience in Electrical Estimating or a similar role.
Proficient in reading and understanding electrical blueprints and schematics.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, products, and safety standards.
Excellent numerical skills and the ability to prepare accurate estimates.
Familiarity with project management and estimating software.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and team members.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
Professional certification in electrical estimating or related field is an added advantage.
Detail‑oriented, organized, and highly accurate.
