Mortgage Sales Supervisor – U.S. Bank Join U.S. Bank as a Mortgage Sales Supervisor and help customers and businesses make smarter financial decisions. This role supports a small team of Mortgage Loan Originators and ensures timely loan origination, underwriting, and closing.

Location:

U.S. home‑based remote; if located near a U.S. Bank branch, you will be expected to work onsite three (3) or more days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise day‑to‑day loan origination activities for a team of Mortgage Loan Originators.

Ensure documents required for processing, underwriting, and closing are secured in a timely manner.

Meet specific loan volume origination goals established by upper management.

Establish referral source relationships to generate loan volume from real estate brokers, builders, and other external sources.

Participate in local and state mortgage banking, realtor, and builder trade associations.

Collaborate with U.S. Bank Home Mortgage and other business lines to promote customer relationships and additional product sales.

Interview, recruit, and retain new talent while fostering employee development and positive engagement.

Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Two or more years of mortgage sales experience.

Valid National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

New business development and relationship management skills.

Knowledge of sales strategies and mortgage products/services.

Understanding of mortgage underwriting requirements (FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, local bonding programs, private investors).

Familiarity with local, state, and national laws (e.g., zoning ordinances, Truth‑in‑Lending, RESPA).

Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Attention to detail and ability to analyze financial information.

Ability to work outside regular place of business when required.

Minimum two years of mortgage loan origination experience with proven results.
