Role Overview The Electronic Assembly Operator III performs intermediate-level assembly work on low-volume, high-mix lines to mass produce transformers and inductors. The role requires independent teamwork, a clean and safe work area, and adherence to standard work.
Key Responsibilities
Performs responsibilities of Electronics Assembler Operator I and II.
Provides expertise with advanced assembly involving heavy/fine wires, fine lams, and complex assemblies inside shells/housing.
Sets up machines such as stamping, banding, molding, and tape and reel.
Operates and maintains complex winding machines.
Performs precision soldering and complex gluing processes, including transformer coil wire assembly.
Displays the highest level of quality standards.
Other duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills
Leads by example and demonstrates core values.
Basic understanding of problem solving and quality problem identification.
Advanced understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and visual workplace management.
Able to read production drawings and work instructions.
Good manual dexterity with wire sizes 10 to 46 AWG.
Can lift up to 25 pounds and perform standing, walking, and lifting throughout the day.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable Experience
GED or high school diploma preferred.
Two or more years of employment with TT Electronics.
J-STD-001D soldering certified.
One year of soldering experience preferred.
Preferred experience in manufacturing assembly, inspection, and trainer.
