The Role We are seeking an experienced commission‑based Sales Lead who can hit the ground running. This is not a training role. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting through close, for both startup clients with capital, venture / investor firms purchasing advisory services, and health systems. You will work independently, collaborate directly with the founders, and represent a highly specialized offering that requires comfort with complexity, credibility, and consultative selling.

What You’ll Be Selling

Advisory and consulting services for funded startups (health‑tech, mental health tech, AI‑enabled platforms) and health systems

Strategic risk, governance, and diligence services for health systems, investors, VCs, and funds

Ongoing retainers, not just one‑off projects, with strong potential for residual commissions

Compensation

Commission‑only role with a generous commission structure

Residual / recurring commissions on retained clients

Significant upside for someone who can close and build long‑term relationships

Responsibilities

Identify, engage, and close B2B clients in tech, startups, and venture capital

Manage the full sales cycle: outreach, discovery, proposal coordination, and close

Confidently sell high‑trust, high‑value professional services

Communicate client needs clearly to founders and delivery team

Build and maintain long‑term client relationships that convert into ongoing work

Represent Unicorn with professionalism, discretion, and strategic insight

Required Experience & Skills

Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally in professional services, consulting, tech, or VC‑adjacent environments

Strong understanding of technology, startups, and venture capital ecosystems

Demonstrated ability to close deals, not just generate leads

Comfortable working independently in a small, fast‑moving organization

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Highly self‑directed, organized, and accountable

Strongly Preferred (Bonus)

Existing network or book of business within startups, VC, or tech

Experience selling to founders, executives, or investors

Familiarity with advisory, consulting, or intangible service offerings
