Rental Management Trainee – Indianapolis, IN Location: Indianapolis, IN 46241. Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (flexible). Annual salary: $50,000 – $55,000, paid weekly. Salary may vary based on experience, education, and market data and may include annual bonus, commission, or long‑term incentive plans.

Summary The Rental Management Trainee is designed to be completed in 18–24 months and provides general Rental Management training in addition to specific training in Finance, Operations, Human Resources and Sales/Marketing. The incumbent will be assigned to operational and administrative tasks in support of location and regional management and will participate in projects that touch every aspect of the business unit.

Essential Functions

Handling the sales and process for inbound calls as well as outbound solicitation.

Maintain current and accurate data within the company’s marketing database.

Responsible for generating rental, lease, and used vehicle sales leads.

Manage all rental asset processes to include vehicle PM and cleanliness standards.

Meet overall Ryder market share by successfully executing sales and marketing initiatives.

Maintain compliance with company and local, state, federal, and other regulatory agencies.

Reconcile all customer concerns, issues, and disputes to maintain ongoing relationships and grow the current customer base.

Additional Responsibilities

On a voluntary basis and based on scheduling, perform the role of On‑Call Representative as determined by supervisor.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Must be computer literate – intermediate proficiency required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required (business administration or similar related degree).

One (1) year or more customer service with issue resolution experience preferred.

Must be computer literate – intermediate proficiency required.
