Hiring for a Sales Rep in Tri Cities and Johnson City, Kingsport, Bristol proper.
Empire Distributors Inc, A Leading Beverage Distributor, is hiring a

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Sell fine wine, beer, and non‑alcoholic products to supermarkets, drug stores, convenience stores, and package stores.
Learn and execute the seven basics of Empire: distribution, positioning, display, pricing, point‑of‑sale, cold box, and rotation in each account.
Travel through assigned territory daily to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, present items for distribution, and handle damages and off‑condition product.
Quote prices and credit terms for orders obtained.
Estimate date of delivery to customer based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.
Confers with District Manager to resolve customer problems.
Investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries.
Identify and respond to customers' needs.
Maintain frequent and open communication with drivers, driver supervisors, district managers, sales managers, and the general manager.
Prepare and/or maintain distribution tracking reports, planning and goals, case quotas and dollar objectives, and other administrative tasks as assigned.
Execute sales plans and maintain accounts according to company standards.
Track progress of goals on a weekly basis.
Participate in supplier work‑withs.
Continually maintain training and product knowledge.
Deliver emergency orders when needed.
Attend trade show.
Conduct business according to local and state laws.
Perform other duties as assigned by District Manager.
Education and Experience
Associate degree or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
TN ABC Wholesaler's Employee Permit
Valid Driver License
Automobile Insurance – 100/300/50 minimum limits of liability.
Computer Skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Sales Portal Order processing systems.
