Chicago Sales Executive - Salesforce Consulting Services

The candidate for this position (Chicago Sales Executive) will excel at acquiring new customers for our Salesforce consulting services business. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify sales opportunities with new prospects. Candidate must reside within 45 minutes of the Chicago Salesforce Tower.
Responsibilities
Engage with executive level prospects to grow our business with new “logo” customers
Create detailed business and territory plans to facilitate the attainment of annual goals and quotas
Find and develop new sales opportunities through outbound calls, emails & networking
Engage with Salesforce RVPs and AEs to partner on new opportunities as a trusted partner
Lead collaborative discovery meetings that uncover prospect’s challenges and pains which are interfering with their business objectives
Coordinate with our team to design a solution aligned to the prospect’s needs
Create and deliver presentations to prospects that demonstrate that we understand their challenges and are proposing the best solution for them
Continuously groom pipeline in the CRM with comprehensive and up-to-date information regarding the prospect, opportunity, and decision makers
Most meetings and work will be completed virtually
Attend regular weekly meetings at the Salesforce office in Chicago
Travel quarterly to Columbus, Ohio for sales planning and training
Travel, as needed, to prospects and customers, to close and maintain business
Required Skills, Education and Experience
Proven experience selling Salesforce consulting services for 3 or more years in sales
Accomplished as a sales leader exceeding quota over multiple years
Extensive experience and knowledge of the Salesforce Ecosystem
Commitment to building long‑term customer relationships
Excellent communication, preparation, strategy, presentation and execution skills
Competitive individual and team mindset
Have full‑time permanent US work authorization
Primary residence within 45 minutes of the Chicago Salesforce office
Base and On‑Target Commission 200,000+
