We have an immediate need for a
Junior Structural Engineer
to join our fast‑growing team in our Edison, NJ office. This position offers the opportunity to work on bridge and transportation‑related projects, while also gaining exposure to a broad range of structural engineering work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
This role offers hands‑on experience and direct mentorship from senior engineers, with the opportunity to see projects through from initial investigation and design to construction. Ideal for an engineer who is eager to learn, take on responsibility, and grow within a collaborative team environment.

Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost‑effective team to serve clients. LiRo-Hill is a 1,100‑person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston, and Metro Park, NJ.
Responsibilities
Perform structural engineering analysis and design for bridge and transportation‑related structures, with additional exposure to building structures including steel, concrete, masonry, and wood systems
Primary duties will be related to bridge structural design and inspection, but we seek a versatile engineer with broad structural engineering interests, including building structures
Assist in site investigations to document existing conditions
Perform site inspections for work engineered by our office
Complete and review design calculations; assist in the preparation of drawings and specifications
Provide responses and solutions to issues during the construction administration phase of projects
Coordinate work product with other in‑house engineering staff and architects
Contribute to projects ranging from small renovations to large‑scale infrastructure and new construction
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
0‑3 years of related experience
EIT preferred
Understanding and application of code requirements
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience in using various civil/analysis software
Ability to multi‑task and meet deadlines
AutoCAD experience a requirement; Revit experience a plus

Compensation: Minimum $75,000 maximum $95,000 (commensurate with experience)
