Our Client, a Consumer Products And Software Services company, is looking for a Tax Analyst for their Austin, TX/ Hybrid location.
Responsibilities:
Based in Austin, Texas, we are seeking an experienced contractor to support Global Tax Information Reporting and Canadian (CAN) Direct Tax activities within the Americas GBS, which includes both the United States and Canada. In this role, you will contribute to a range of tax reporting, data preparation, and compliance activities, helping ensure timely and accurate submissions across multiple countries.
Performing multi-year leasehold improvement recalculations for Canada
Collecting and formatting tax information reporting data for several countries
Testing data to confirm accurate and compliant submission
Communicating with developers to request additional information and provide reminders for upcoming reporting deadlines
Supporting additional tax and compliance projects as needed
Requirements:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP
High degree of technical proficiency with spreadsheets and database tools
Background in accounting, finance, or business required (Tax experience is helpful but not required)
