Payment Processing Specialist
Location: Tampa, FL 33612
Duration: 03-06 months contract
Pay Range: $22.00 - $25.00/hr on W2 all-inclusive without benefits.
Job Description
Our client is looking for 30 qualified Tampa-based resources (3-5 yrs exp.) with strong client-facing experience and deep expertise in payments operations, specifically Wires, ACH, Host-to-Host (H2H), and API payment channels.
These contractors are needed to support client delivery, onboarding, migration, testing, and ongoing operational execution across multiple payment channels.
The goal is to improve client satisfaction, accelerate payment transformation initiatives, and ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
Responsibility Requirements
Contractors will be responsible for providing professional client and payment operations support, including but not limited to the following:
Support clients through onboarding, testing, and migration while serving as the main point of contact.
Handle payment operations, including file transmissions, reconciliations, and issue resolution across all payment channels.
Ensure accurate client setups, troubleshoot problems, and maintain compliance with security standards.
Execute migration plans, coordinate testing and signoffs, and report progress to project leadership.
Resource Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in client-facing financial services or payment operations roles.
Hands‑on expertise with Wires, ACH, H2H, and API payment processing.
Strong communication, project management, onboarding, and implementation skills.
