Leasing Consultant
Join Stonemark as a Leasing Consultant to market, show, and lease apartments, support residents, and maintain community operations.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate inventory of available apartments and renewals.
Establish rapport with prospective residents, assess needs, and present the community.
Schedule appointments for market‑ready apartments, overcome objections, and secure lease commitments.
Verify rental applications for accuracy and completeness per company and housing regulations.
Prepare move‑in and welcome packages.
Assist in move‑in/move‑out processes and ensure apartments are clean and attractive.
Collect rent and other monies due and process service requests for maintenance.
Prepare and assist with community newsletter.
Assist the Community Manager or Assistant Community Manager with their responsibilities and assume the role during their absence.
Requirements
Associate’s degree or equivalent, or 6 months to 1 year related leasing experience/training.
Excellent people and communication skills; well organized, professional, friendly, enthusiastic, and diligent.
Knowledge of Word Processing, Spreadsheet, and Internet software.
Frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds.
