Overview:

Responsible for the sales and marketing of Truist Mortgage Loan products within bank policies and procedures, consistent referral of mortgage clients to other bank services, and promotion of related insurance products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Execute effective mortgage marketing and development plans to meet or exceed production goals.

Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Mortgage Strategies, Policies and Procedures, and secondary market investor guidelines used by Truist.

Adhere to and fully comply with all Truist policies and external regulations, including state and federal law.

Provide mortgage clients sound advice based on a full understanding of client needs and Truist Mortgage products and benefits.

Consistently execute Truist’s referral process by introducing mortgage clients to other banking solutions to deepen client opportunities.

Assist Mortgage Loan Fulfillment with client, attorney, or appraiser document follow‑up as needed through quality control or post‑closing review.

Required Qualifications:

1+ year(s) experience in banking and/or lending environment with basic knowledge of residential property types.

Good organizational, written and verbal communication skills.

Solid interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Proficiency in relevant computer applications.

Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment, including registration and NMLS background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, or related field or equivalent experience.

Two or more years of residential mortgage lending experience with solid knowledge of local market and regulations.

Previous sales awards and leadership positions.

Other Job Requirements / Working Conditions:

Sitting/Standing/Walking/Bending/Lifting up to 25 lbs.

Typical schedule includes 25–50% sitting and standing, 25–50% walking, and flexible availability for overtime.

Travel up to 75% required.

District of Columbia, United States – $12.00–$25.00 per hour

Bethesda, MD – $60,000.00–$175,000.00 annually

Bethesda, MD – $100,000.00–$250,000.00 annually

Washington, DC – $50,000.00–$100,000.00 annually
