Assistant Property Manager - Ryder Ridge
Roers Companies is hiring an energetic, dedicated Assistant Property Manager for our Ryder Ridge location in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities
Actively solicit business to achieve occupancy and rental goals.
Reach prospective residents through advertising and respond to inquiries via phone, leads, and property tours.
Lead property tours and showcase amenities.
Set standards for staff engagement with prospective and current residents.
Assist with staff training and model effective sales techniques.
Lead rent collection efforts, including delinquent residents and potential legal actions.
Assist in managing the property’s budget to increase net operating income.
Maintain accurate resident ledgers and files.
Inspect units during move‑in/out and conduct walk‑throughs of the community.
Act as Property Manager in their absence.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED.
1+ years leasing or Assistant Property Manager experience.
Yardi experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
Computer skills: Microsoft Word & Excel; internet, email, and social media marketing experience.
Experience with marketing and leasing initiatives for new development preferred.
Organized, detail‑oriented, and good time‑management.
Flexible schedule as property needs vary.
Entrepreneurial mindset – self‑motivated, collaborative, and trustworthy.
High integrity – honest, direct, and accountable.
Physical capability to walk the property, including up to 4 flights of stairs, conduct inspections, deliver communications, show apartments, and drive to area businesses.
Maintain a neat, professional appearance.
Compensation and Benefits Pay Range:
$43,500 – $57,200 + eligibility for competitive monthly commission on new leases and renewals.
