Commercial Lines Account Manager – The Jonus Group Seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Commercial Lines Account Manager

to join a team. This role involves managing a full book of business, providing exceptional service to clients, and supporting new business development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial insurance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a predominantly remote environment.

Compensation Package

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000+ (depending on experience)

Responsibilities

Manage a book of business valued at over $1.5 million, with account sizes ranging from $5,000 to $500,000

Handle claims and payment assistance for clients

Conduct policy renewals, coverage reviews, pricing, and delivery

Support new business sales, including sourcing, quote preparation, and presentation

Prepare Acord and application forms

Manage inbound and outbound sales and service phone calls

Perform data entry and maintain records in the Applied Systems Epic agency management system

Collaborate with MGAs and underwriters to ensure efficient account management

Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel for daily tasks

Qualifications / Requirements

Property & Casualty (P&C) license required

Minimum of 5 years in commercial insurance, with surplus lines experience preferred

Proficiency in Applied Systems Epic is highly desirable

Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Strong data entry and organizational skills

Personable and approachable demeanor

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Team player with the ability to work independently

Adaptable and willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed
