Salary Range: $82,000.00 To $100,000.00 Annually
Overview We are seeking a highly motivated
Cybersecurity Analyst
to join our team. In this role, you will monitor, protect, and enhance the security of our networks, systems, and cloud environments. You will identify risks, analyze security alerts, implement controls, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations. This role requires collaboration with IT teams and stakeholders to maintain secure access to ePHI and critical data.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents within Azure, M365, and other systems.
Implement and manage access controls and authentication mechanisms for ePHI data in Azure and M365.
Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans on Azure, M365, EHR, and related systems.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configuration of cloud and network services.
Support management of IPAM (DDI), VPN, and SIEM solutions.
Investigate and respond to unauthorized access or data breaches.
Develop and maintain security policies and procedures in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and resolve security issues.
Participate in regular security risk assessments and remediate findings.
Ensure alignment with internal and external security standards, including NIST, HIPAA, and CIS 20.
Stay up-to-date with emerging threats, security protocols, and monitoring practices.
Flexibility to work during approved maintenance windows, including nights and weekends, as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Networking, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of cybersecurity experience in enterprise environments.
Strong understanding of network technologies, including routing, switching, IPsec, RADIUS, TACACS+, and NSGs.
Experience with cloud-based security solutions (Azure, M365) and multi-vendor network environments.
Knowledge of cybersecurity controls and technologies such as IPS/IDS, SIEM, PKI, TLS, EDR, and Threat Intelligence platforms.
Experience managing vulnerability management systems and performing risk assessments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Industry-recognized certifications preferred: CCNA Security, CCSE, AZ-500.
