We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our Facility Maintenance and Repairs team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth in the facility maintenance sector. The selected candidate will have a proven track record in the field of new business development, exceptional oral and written communication skills, team leadership capabilities, and must have good interpersonal skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients in the facility maintenance industry.
Analyze competitor offerings and market positioning to refine our value proposition.
Lead Generation: Develop and implement strategies for lead generation through networking, cold calling, email campaigns, and industry events.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients.
Client Relationship Management: Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations.
Conduct meetings and presentations to showcase our facility maintenance services and solutions.
Proposal Development: Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored proposals and service agreements that meet client needs.
Ensure proposals are competitive and highlight the benefits of our services.
Sales Strategy Development: Work with the sales team to create and execute effective sales strategies and tactics.
Set achievable sales targets and track progress against goals.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to secure new business.
Ensure compliance with company policies and standards throughout the negotiation process.
Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with operations and marketing teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of business development initiatives.
Share market insights and client feedback with relevant teams to enhance service delivery.
Maintain accurate records of business development activities and client interactions in CRM systems.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
QUALIFICATIONS
Leading all phases of business development and supporting all aspects of the client experience.
Independently developing a sales pipeline.
Identify and interface with prospects and customers to evaluate and secure new clients.
Communicate effectively with prospects to enable adequate understanding of the company’s products and solutions we can provide.
Meet defined sales targets, metrics, and individual goals.
Develop sales presentations, proposals, and other materials as needed to support business development efforts.
Travel as need be to visit potential clients and attend trade shows, which may include working in the evening and on weekends when travelling.
Implementation and adherence to company’s customer relationship management software (CRM).
The business development representative must be an enthusiastic, reliable, highly motivated, results-oriented self-starter who is a hands-on team player.
