Mechanical Engineer – HVAC / Chiller Systems
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with HVAC expertise to join our engineering team. This role focuses on the design, analysis, and optimization of chiller systems, including thermal modeling, system integration, and product validation. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, hands‑on system experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
Perform
thermal and thermodynamic analysis
to evaluate system performance under varying operating conditions
Design and develop
chiller systems , including component selection, layout, and system optimization
Conduct
system modeling and simulation
to support performance predictions and design decisions
Support
testing and validation activities , analyze results, and implement design improvements
Collaborate with
design, manufacturing, suppliers, and cross‑functional teams
to meet project milestones
Participate in
design reviews, PPS reviews, and factory support activities
Apply
industry best practices and emerging HVAC technologies
to drive innovation and efficiency
Technical specifications and
vendor evaluation documentation
Installation, commissioning, and factory support documentation
Final
system performance validation and test reports
Assist with
layout design, detailed drawings, and release processes
Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams for
part integration
Perform
engineering calculations
(ASME, flow, structural, thermal)
Prepare technical documentation and support
product launch readiness
Modeling & Analysis
Conduct
thermodynamic and heat transfer modeling
using proprietary or commercial tools
Perform
refrigerant system analysis and performance selection
Develop and execute
test plans
to validate system performance
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with
3–5 years of HVAC experience , or
Master’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering with
2+ years of HVAC experience
Preferred Experience
Hands‑on experience with
chiller systems and HVAC equipment
Familiarity with
ASME standards and HVAC performance testing methods
Proficiency in
system modeling, simulation, and data analysis tools
Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills
