This role is located in San Antonio, TX and offers a hybrid schedule.
Compensation: $97,000.
Overview This Billing Manager role provides oversight and direction for 2 direct Senior Billing Leads, and 6 indirect billing team members. The position includes both managerial and administrative support and is responsible for managing the corporate billing and project management functions of the Finance department.
Ideal experience includes multiple billing models including Time & Labor, Project Cost Accounting/WIP, POC, and Flat Rate billing models.
Responsibilities
Manage multiple projects simultaneously from project setup to project close.
Work closely with stakeholders to track any project updates to ensure projects are tracking on time.
Maintain project management methods, standards and procedures.
Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is accurate for each project.
Communicate with admins and project managers effectively to obtain necessary information regarding projects.
Update advanced billing terms as needed.
Run basic reports to pull pertinent project information.
Interact with admins to resolve basic project setup issues.
Inactivate or reactivate projects according to department procedures.
Proactively query data to ensure accuracy.
Process split proposals.
Process revised ASR’s and proposals.
Demonstrate critical thinking skills and apply them to the problem-solving process.
Qualifications
4+ years related experience in AIA Billing, POC, Project Accounting/WIP.
2+ years supervisor/management experience.
Strong knowledge of construction projects and their structure.
Strong knowledge of contracts, billing rates/hour, terms and agreements.
Ability to effectively manage high volumes of work with quick deadlines and changing priorities consistently.
Deltek software is strongly preferred.
