Continuous Improvement Manager
The Continuous Improvement Manager (CIM) is a highly visible position reporting to the Plant Manager. This individual will be responsible for facilitating continuous improvement and lean efforts, training, implementing, and sustaining improvement activities. Previous experience working in a lean or continuous improvement environment is a must. This individual will work directly with front line leadership and mill management to improve productivity, quality, and safety, and to implement standard work. They will oversee 5-S events, daily management system boards, and problem-solving teams. Must have significant previous experience working with and implementing continuous improvement and lean principles. Must have a working knowledge of problem-solving techniques such as C4's. Must have previous experience with Kaizen events, 5-S, daily management systems, job instruction training, facilitating improvements with line management, and coaching.
