Job Summary:
Join our vibrant logistics team as an Order Picker in Houston, Texas! We are looking for organized and efficient individuals to help us fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly. As an Order Picker, your main responsibility will be to accurately retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves based on digital or paper order lists. You will need to navigate the warehouse efficiently, locate products, verify quantities, and stage them for the packing process. Attention to detail is critical to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet productivity targets, and maintain a high level of accuracy. You will be working collaboratively with other team members, contributing to the overall efficiency of our warehouse operations. Adherence to all Safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is paramount. The job involves significant physical activity, including walking extensively, reaching, bending, and regular Lifting of items. Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations according to order tickets.
- Verify product codes and quantities during the picking process.
- Stage picked items efficiently for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all Safety rules and procedures.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks as needed.
- Meet or exceed daily picking quotas and accuracy standards.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Support the overall logistics and fulfillment process.
