Job Summary:
We are hiring an Order Picker for our large distribution facility in Dallas, Texas. This position is critical for ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse, using scanning technology to locate and retrieve products, and preparing them for the next stage of the shipping process. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on order requirements.
- Utilize RF scanners or pick sheets to identify and collect items.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order documentation.
- Transport picked goods to designated staging or packing areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in your assigned work zones.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as directed.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including safe Lifting methods and the mandatory use of PPE .
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily picking targets and support overall Logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Ability to perform efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Experience with RF scanning equipment is beneficial.
- Must be capable of performing regular Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Commitment to workplace Safety and diligent use of all provided PPE .
