Order Picker

Job Summary:
We are seeking an energetic and precise Order Picker to join our thriving logistics center in Austin, Texas. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. Your responsibilities will include locating, retrieving, and preparing items for shipment. Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or electronic devices.
• Verify picked items against order specifications to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare picked items for packing and shipping, ensuring proper handling.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers safely.
• Adhere strictly to all Safety guidelines and procedures.
• Participate in inventory management tasks as assigned.
• Meet or exceed picking productivity targets.
• Report any discrepancies or issues to a supervisor promptly.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks involving moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
• Familiarity with warehouse inventory systems and order picking technology.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Knowledge of Safety practices in a warehouse environment.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.
• Willingness to wear all required PPE.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
