Eastern is seeking an experienced Sales Director with strong expertise in HVAC equipment and established relationships within the AEC industry. This senior-level role will be responsible for leading Eastern’s engagement in Pre-Construction and Pre-Bid processes, positioning the company as a trusted partner for large-scale projects. The Sales Director will leverage industry knowledge, technical understanding, and client relationships to ensure Eastern’s inclusion in key bidding opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Eastern’s representation in Pre-Con and Pre-Bid meetings with project stakeholders.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with decision-makers across the construction and industrial sectors.
- Proactively gather project intelligence and ensure Eastern is positioned to participate in prime bidding opportunities.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of preliminary pricing, technical proposals, and value engineering (VE) options during Pre-Con stages.
- Provide strategic direction for HVAC equipment sales, with focus on AHU, DHU, MAU, FFU, BCU, and PCM (Process Cooling Module for semiconductor applications).
- Coordinate with internal engineering, project management, and operations teams to align sales strategies with delivery capabilities.
- Identify market trends, competitor positioning, and emerging opportunities in the mission-critical, cleanroom, and semiconductor sectors.
- Mentor and develop junior sales staff, fostering a strong business development culture within Eastern.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years of sales or business development experience in the construction, MEP, or HVAC industry.
- Some technical knowledge of HVAC equipment.
- Proven track record of leading business development efforts from initial engagement through contract execution.
- Demonstrated success in winning bids and securing inclusion in procurement pipelines.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to operate at both executive and project levels, bridging technical and commercial discussions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Preferred Attributes
- Established industry network within mission-critical, semiconductor, or large industrial markets.
- Experience with cleanroom projects, semiconductor fabs, or large industrial plants.
- Ability to translate complex technical details into persuasive sales strategies.
- Leadership experience in managing sales teams or business development units.
The pay range for this role is:
130,000 - 150,000 USD per year (Georgia)
