Position Details
The Community Manager (Property Manager) is the business leader for the property, ensuring a positive working environment, quality community living, and a high standard of operations to meet IMT’s objectives.
- Lead your team of leasing and service associates.
- Drive financial results to meet IMT’s income and expense goals.
- Lead sales, including leasing apartment homes yourself, renewing leases, developing team skills, marketing your community, and monitoring market conditions.
- Partner with your Service Manager to ensure property conditions are well maintained with excellent curb appeal.
- Maintain an open‑door policy with residents to provide outstanding customer service and build lasting relationships.
- Adhere to Fair Housing laws, regulations, and IMT’s policies.
- Perform bookkeeping and financial tasks including rent collection, delinquency management, move‑out statements, financial and variance reports.
- Additional projects and duties as assigned by the Regional Manager.
Qualifications

- Multi‑family housing management experience.
- Knowledge of property bookkeeping and financials.
- The ability to connect with a variety of people and lead a team.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, multi‑tasking, and problem‑solving skills.
- The ability to work in a high‑volume and sometimes stressful environment.
- Ability to work independently and make sound business decisions.
- A positive attitude and desire to learn and develop your skills.
- Computer skills; MRI experience a plus.
- College education helpful.
- ARM or CAM designation a plus.
- Active and valid driver’s license required.
