Position Title: Team Member/Scent Consultant for Chicago’s very own Pour‑Your‑Own Custom Candle Experience at AURA Candle Bar. AURA Candle Bar is a fragrance and candle‑making experience.
Location
Southport Corridor - Lakeview, Chicago; a two minute walk to/from CTA Brown Line, Southport Station.
Hours
Part‑time positions currently available for weekends and some nights. Weekend and holiday availability is a must. Studio Hours: Sunday 12‑5 PM, Monday‑Closed, Tuesday & Wednesday 12‑7 PM, Thursday & Friday 12‑8 PM, Saturday 11‑8 PM.

Responsibilities
- Welcome visitors and guide them through fragrance explorations, helping them to create personalized scent blends.
- Provide exceptional guest experiences by maintaining a peaceful sanctuary.
- Communicate with groups in a public setting and prioritize tasks as assigned to support the guest experience.
- Understand operational flow of a retail space and assist with daily operations.
- Maintain self‑care practices to support guest interactions.
Qualifications
- Completed bachelor’s degree.
- Life experience that complements fragrance or a background that enhances diversity in serving guests.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift over 45 pounds.
- Must be living within 20 minutes of the studio.
Training
Custom fragrance blending training provided.
Compensation
Pay starts at $15/hour; $25/hour average with tips.
