The Activities Director is an integral part of the care team that helps change the lives of our patients and residents each day. In this role you will be responsible for providing a full range of physical, social, cultural, spiritual, emotional and recreational needs in an interdisciplinary environment including:
- Planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating and directing the activity program
- Assessing individual/group resident/patient needs and developing related meaningful morning, afternoon, evening and special programs
- Prepares and posts a monthly schedule of activities
- Attends patient/resident care conferences, updates activtity care plans with progress notes, goals and treatments
- Maintains Social Media posts highlighting resident and staff events
- Works with the members of resident counsil and CRA to develop activities that focus on the interests of the current resident population
- Other duties as assigned
