We are seeking an experienced and motivated Mortgage Team Leader to help scale and grow our lending platform. This is a hybrid role designed for a producing loan officer who wants to continue originating loans while also leading, mentoring, and developing other loan officers.
This position is ideal for a high-performing Mortgage Loan Officer, Branch Manager, or Sales Manager who is looking to scale production, build a team, and expand leadership responsibilities without stepping away from personal production.
The Mortgage Team Leader will be responsible for supporting loan officer performance, coaching on sales and process, and helping drive overall team growth. You will maintain your own book of business while playing a key role in developing newer loan officers.
You will have access to company-generated and purchased leads, including Zillow and Realtor.com leads, to support both personal production and team success.
Qualifications include prior experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer or mortgage leadership role, a proven track record of loan production, and the ability to coach and motivate others in a fast-paced environment. An active or eligible NMLS license is required.

Responsibilities
- Excel in meeting all pipeline, sales management, and new business generation goals to increase market share
- Help employees achieve sales goals by leading, training, and motivating them to succeed
- Maintain and enforce branch policies, procedures, and protocols are followed by all team members
- Adhere to state, regional, and federal guidelines, and ensure all loans meet company policies and procedures
- Promote our organization in a positive way, with an emphasis on marketing and building new business with referral channels such as realtors
Qualifications
- NMLS or state licensing preferred
- Must be able to complete all phases of the mortgage loan origination process and have demonstrated knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA, and conventional residential mortgage loan products and regulations
- Exceptional communication skills, and strong judgment and decision making skills
- 3-5 years of experience in banking or mortgage industry with 2-3 years experience in a supervisory role in customer service, human resources, operations, business development, or sales management
- Strong industry knowledge and advanced technical/ computer skills
Compensation
$95,000 - $125,000 at plan earnings
