Mechanical Superintendent

Our client is a licensed, full-service HVAC mechanical contractor providing installation, service, repairs, and preventative maintenance for commercial and residential projects across South Florida.

Mechanical Superintendent to oversee field operations on multiple construction projects. Ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of mechanical/HVAC systems, and the ability to coordinate crews, subcontractors, vendors, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily on‑site mechanical construction activities.
• Coordinate workforce, subcontractors, and equipment to meet project schedules.
• Ensure work is completed in compliance with plans, specifications, and applicable codes (FBC, OSHA, etc.).
• Conduct site inspections, resolve field issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain project documentation including daily reports, safety logs, and material deliveries.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to address design or scheduling challenges.
• Enforce company safety policies and promote a safe work environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in mechanical/HVAC construction, with at least 2+ years in a superintendent or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, ductwork, piping, and equipment installations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• OSHA 30 or equivalent safety certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Fluent English and Spanish.
