Your Impact

  • Consistently deliver revenue targets, ensuring company revenue goals and objectives are achieved quarter over quarter and year over year.
  • Accurately forecast quarterly and annual revenue numbers for your region, meeting deadlines.
  • Direct sales activities within the assigned area, set expectations, provide mentorship, prioritize efforts, hold the team accountable for building pipeline and executing the sales cycle.
  • Coach the sales team to uncover customer needs, develop champions, present specific use cases, demonstrate the differentiated value of Splunk products and services and negotiate favorable pricing and terms through value and ROI selling.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of direct and channel enterprise software selling experience to large enterprises.
  • Subscription, SaaS, or Cloud software experience working with enterprise accounts.
  • Excellent leadership and influencing skills; ability to build strong business partnerships inside and outside the organization.
  • Skilled at business planning and diligent at measuring and communicating progress toward the plan, identifying roadblocks, and proposing solutions.
  • Success adapting in fast‑growing and changing environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience building and leading front‑line sales teams; ability to grow and scale upward with the company, with second‑line management experience a plus.
  • Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas personally and as a sales leader.
  • Relevant software experience in IT systems, enterprise or infrastructure management, application development and management, DevOps, security, business applications, and/or analytics. Subscription, SaaS, or Cloud software experience is preferred.
  • Highly professional persona and polished demeanor; strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills; effective at delivering executive‑level presentations.
  • Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques; knowledge of MEDDPICC and Challenger methodologies is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Message to applicants applying to work in the U.S. and/or Canada:
The starting salary range posted for this position is $325,000.00 to $409,600.00 and reflects the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation*, equity, or benefits.

U.S. employees are offered benefits, subject to Cisco’s plan eligibility rules, including medical, dental and vision insurance; a 401(k) plan with matching contribution; paid parental leave; short and long‑term disability coverage; and basic life insurance. Employees may be eligible to receive grants of Cisco restricted stock units, vesting after continued employment with Cisco for defined periods of time.

U.S. employees are eligible for paid time away as described below, subject to Cisco’s policies:

  • 10 paid holidays per full calendar year plus one floating holiday for non‑exempt employees.
  • 1 paid day off for employee’s birthday, paid year‑end holiday shutdown, and 4 paid days off for personal wellness determined by Cisco.
  • Non‑exempt employees receive 16 days of paid vacation per calendar year, accrued at a rate of 4.92 hours per pay period for full‑time employees.
  • Exempt employees participate in Cisco’s flexible vacation time off program with no defined limit on how much vacation time may be used (subject to availability and business limitations).
  • 80 hours of sick time off provided on hire date and each January 1st thereafter, with up to 80 hours of unused sick time carried forward.
  • Additional paid time away may be requested for critical or emergency family issues.
  • Optional 10 paid days per calendar year to volunteer.

Performance Incentive Pay

  • .75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota.
  • 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%.
  • 1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%.
  • Once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
