Overview
Area Sales Director- Service/Repair (Mid-Atlantic Area) at TK Elevator. Responsible for driving profitable service and repair sales across multi-regions with emphasis on innovation, efficiencies, differentiated customer service, and growth to operate consistently and cohesively in the Mid-Atlantic area.
Essential job functions
- Drives and supports a culture of safety and compliance throughout the organization in all lines of business. Acts as the face of safety and compliance to all employees.
- Acts as change agent to improve sales results by promoting improvements, changes, and innovations to achieve best-in-class performance; coach and consult with regions to address weaknesses and risks within the service and repair sales business.
- Supports service and repair sales for multi-regions with emphasis on customer experience, growth and retention; shares best practices to nurture a culture that generates breakthrough ideas and takes well-reasoned risks.
- Supports business development through insights on customer relationships with key customers and consultants; maintains working knowledge of the service and repair market, including market penetration, market size/segments, and competitor positions and strategies. May participate in key customer meetings and bid opportunities.
- Strategically reviews KPIs for each region and branch and provides coaching and support for business plans and sales goals.
- Collaborates with Regional President and Regional Director of Service Sales to review performance and ensure SOPs and corporate initiatives are utilized; conducts occasional branch and region visits to advise on performance improvement.
- Engages in talent development and recruiting of key sales positions across regions; mentors Regional Director of Service Sales; supports sales talent through STEP program and PMP, counsels sales employees on career development.
- Participates in large bid reviews as needed or requested by region.
- Supports strategic sales initiatives aligned with corporate and regional strategies; utilizes TK Elevator sales tools and training (CRM, SOPs, STAR customer relations).
- Maintains strong familiarity with company products through training and updates; differentiates TK Elevator offerings from competition in all branch markets.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 10+ years directly related sales experience in the elevator or related industries preferred.
- Proven success in B2B field sales with experience selling services in a competitive market.
- Ability to write reports, contract proposals, and business correspondence.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to improve profitability.
- Ability to present effectively to customers, lead meetings, and present to groups.
