Job Description

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a strategic leader in the Capital Markets Tax practice, overseeing a significant client portfolio across investment funds, private equity, private credit, broker‑dealers, and other asset management.
  • Lead delivery of advanced tax consulting on financial instruments, transactions, structuring, and investment vehicle design.
  • Drive growth by expanding existing client relationships and cultivating new business opportunities within the capital markets ecosystem.
  • Act as an industry‑recognized resource, providing insights on tax regulations, market trends, and evolving financial product landscapes.
  • Shape team strategy, staffing, development, and performance expectations to build a scalable, high‑performing practice.
  • Collaborate with Partners, Specialty Tax, Assurance, Consulting, and Advisory to deliver comprehensive, integrated client solutions.
  • Ensure operational excellence through budgeting, resource planning, process optimization, and quality control.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting; Master’s or advanced degree preferred.
  • CPA required.
  • 12+ years of capital markets‑focused tax experience with demonstrated industry expertise.
  • Deep technical command of partnership taxation, financial products, and investment structures.
  • Proven ability to grow client accounts and drive practice expansion.
  • Strong leadership presence with experience developing teams and elevating organizational performance.
  • Strategic mindset, outstanding communication skills, and commitment to innovation and exceptional service.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $155,500.00 - $416,000.00 per year.
