Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Indirect Tax Analystto jointheir team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $35.00 to $45.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of indirect tax compliance, including preparing and filing returns across multiple jurisdictions. Maintain a detailed compliance calendar to ensure timely submissions and adherence to deadlines. Perform account reconciliations and prepare tax adjustments for financial reporting purposes. Support audits by gathering documentation, researching issues, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Assist with tax planning initiatives, including nexus reviews and taxability analysis. Requirements
3+years of experience in tax or accounting, with at least two years focused on indirect tax compliance. Strong technical knowledge of indirect tax regulations and related processes. Proficiency in tax research and documentation, with familiarity in tools such as Checkpoint. Skilled in Microsoft Excel and other standard office applications for data analysis and reporting. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, or a related field; CPA designation. Experience with tax compliance software such as OneSource and ERP systems like NetSuite. Understanding of U.S. tax concepts and exposure to international tax principles; SALT knowledge. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Effective communication and collaboration skills for working across teams and business functions.
