At Gulf Coast Blood, we need 1,000 donations every single day to meet the critical needs of hospitals and patients across the Greater Houston area. Our Account Coordinators play a key role in making this happen by partnering with local businesses, schools, religious organizations, and community groups to host successful blood drives.

This is an inside sales position with significant opportunities for growth within the organization.

In this role, you will:

Promote Gulf Coast Blood’s mission and programs to community organizations

Collaborate with host groups to develop and implement customized donor recruitment and marketing plans for each blood drive

Proactively recruit new community partners to host blood drives

Schedule blood drives to maximize donor turnout and meet monthly goals

Coordinate logistics to ensure successful setup and execution of each blood drive

Partner with your assigned territory Account Manager to ensure drives are well-planned and supported

Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and ensure up-to-date scheduling

Attend community events and deliver presentations to raise awareness and generate interest

Provide on-site support to help recruit blood donors during key events

Additional duties as assigned

We need someone who has:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university, or 1–3 years of related experience

Availability to work occasional weekends and holidays as needed

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM, and scheduling software

Strong numerical skills to calculate figures such as percentages and discounts

Self-motivated and goal-oriented with excellent communication skills

Must have a valid Texas Driver's License and good driving record

Applicants with an out-of-state license must obtain a Texas Driver’s License within 30 days of hire
