About the Role Ziegler Ag Equipment is seeking an ambitious Sales professional to join our Ag Sales Team. As an Ag Sales Account Manager you will develop relationships with farmers, represent AGCO product lines (Fendt, Massey Ferguson, Gleaner, Caterpillar) and Ziegler’s used inventory, and work within a sales territory that includes Mills, Montgomery, Fremont, Page, Adams, Taylor, Union, and Ringgold counties.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact between customers and Ziegler Ag Equipment.

Develop and document coverage plans to improve visit outcomes.

Collaborate with the Ag Regional Sales Manager for team selling.

Promptly respond to administrative and managerial requests.

Provide professional and timely service to assigned customers.

Utilize product specialists, manufacturer reps, and other resources as needed.

Build strong rapport with customers, balancing personal and business relationships.

Present yourself as a professional, neat, and clean Ziegler representative.

Accurately maintain customer information and sales activities in CRM software.

Prepare sales contracts and submit orders for processing.

Adhere to schedules for paperwork and reports, maintaining expense levels consistent with corporate requirements.

Plan call activity and pricing strategy in line with company policy.

Work cooperatively with management and employees across departments.

Follow up on leads and inquiries, prospecting new customers regularly.

Create and present material to support customer decision-making.

Effectively use demonstrations, plan, qualify, formalize the demo presentation, and provide written recap and quotation.

Emphasize product features based on customer needs and technical knowledge.

Conduct sales interviews with appropriate questions to determine and meet needs.

Respond promptly to customer requests.

Continuously seek product or service solutions for unique customer needs.

Research competitive products and sellers to enhance knowledge.

Resolve customer issues within and outside the direct sales process.

Maintain strong relationships with key accounts to ensure continued business.

Promote complementary products and services according to customer needs.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in business or agriculture-related field preferred.

2+ years of successful ag equipment sales experience or related field.

Strong mechanical aptitude and agricultural background.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Personal characteristics: Self‑motivated, customer focus, learning orientation, empathy, self‑confidence, teamwork.

Must maintain a clean driving record.

Able to drive equipment for demonstration purposes.

Travel Up to 50% travel.

Minimum Physical Requirements

Standing, walking, using hands, talking, hearing.

Work may occur indoors or outdoors; moderate noise levels may occur.

Total Compensation $133,300.00 to $200,000.00 base salary plus incentive.
