Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Project Managers to determine the field crew needs for each project
Create daily crew schedule based on each employee's ability to meet project requirements. Make all major adjustments (current and future) the schedules and maintain these adjustments on a weekly basis
Manage and approve time off requests and schedule accordingly. Review timesheets for billing accuracy and approve through accounting software
Responsible for fielding phone calls from field crews and determining the best course of action to resolve each issue. The Field Coordinator also takes call-ins from the general public regarding field crews and responds accordingly
Assist in the assignment of fleet vehicles (Trucks, UTVs, Trailers, and Boats) to field personnel and coordinates the maintenance and repairs of these fleet vehicles. Coordinate transfer of vehicles between offices depending on company needs
Coordinate assignment of hardware and equipment as needed to complete project and maintain firmware updates
Provide technical direction and training for use of hardware and equipment if necessary. Troubleshoot, diagnose and arrange repair of hardware and equipment
Manage multiple vendors on purchase of field supplies and tools
Monitor field crew performance and productivity. Make personnel decisions regarding hiring, compensation, training, promotions, discipline and termination of field staff
Performs site visits to ensure company standards are being met and procedures followed
Assist the Field Operations Manager in policy formation by generating any requested documentation or reports
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 3 years of experience as a field supervisor managing a minimum of 5 crews
Must be able to work flexible hours (nights, weekends and out of town work possible)
Valid driver's license and good driving record required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven work history, strong work ethic and team-player attitude
Highly organized and attention to detail
