Amsterdam Nursing Home in New York City is seeking an experienced
Dietary Supervisor
for our Skilled Nursing Facility. Prior supervisory & nursing home kitchen experience required.
Immediate hire.
Base pay range:
$26.00/hr - $26.00/hr.
DUTIES
Plan, assign & oversee Food Service staff
Create schedules & prepare departmental payroll
Supervise storage, handling & rotation of food/supplies
Ensure kitchen, storage & dining areas are clean and compliant
Check resident trays for accuracy; assist on tray line during meals
Assist cooks with meal production when needed
Coordinate food preparation for special events
REQUIREMENTS
Prior supervisory experience
Healthcare food service certification (ServSafe, Sodexo, etc.)
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong communication & leadership skills
Team-oriented, organized & reliable
