Job Overview
Wildtype Health is an agile full‑service healthcare agency that removes obstacles between brand and growth. We seek a Senior Art Director who can independently manage jobs and projects, collaborate closely with copywriters and other art directors, maintain brand consistency, and drive all work forward on strategy to grow the client’s business.
General Responsibilities
Independently manage assigned jobs and/or projects on the brand from concept to final production.
Establish credibility and knowledge of the client’s business, internal structure, and key contacts.
Stay abreast of current advertising, design, and visual communications; explore cutting‑edge styles and imagery.
Work across multiple media, including print, with a solid understanding of production techniques, budget, and timing.
Keep the supervisor and team briefed on creative projects in a timely manner.
Brand Champion
Maintain the highest level of brand integrity and excellence in all materials.
Provide comprehensive design oversight and ensure brand consistency across projects.
Consistently generate fresh, unique thinking for all brand marketing/advertising initiatives.
Collaborate with copywriters to develop conceptual approaches that meet client objectives.
Collaborate with other art directors to establish visual consistency throughout the brand.
Ensure final products demonstrate high quality creative and effectively communicate brand messages.
Present creative concepts and rationale to team and clients with clear, persuasive communication.
Show ability to think big picture and pay attention to detail.
Collaboration
Collaborate with client and agency creative/account teams.
Create a collaborative work environment and resolve conflicts positively.
Maintain positive relationships with internal business departments (studio, editorial, traffic, imaging, production).
Additional Responsibilities
Communicate effectively and professionally internally and externally.
Demonstrate problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
Remain calm in high‑pressure situations.
Project a professional attitude and foster a positive team atmosphere.
Assist team members when workload allows.
Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
Qualifications
College degree.
2–5 years of art design/direction experience, preferably in advertising.
Advertising or design portfolio.
Compensation
Salary range: $75,000 – $116,500
