We use Customer Generation, a marketing methodology focused on SQLs and Customers instead of traditional metrics like MQLs. This role reports to the Associate Director and is a crucial part of the social media team. It offers a unique opportunity to be on the ground floor of a fast‑growing specialty agency. The Senior LinkedIn Strategist works directly with our mid‑market and enterprise clients, leading the communication of results, creating custom strategies, and executing Paid Media deliverables. You will gain experience crafting high‑performing LinkedIn strategies for B2B businesses. Roles & Responsibilities Oversee and lead a collection of Social Media accounts Serve as direct support to client contacts Coordinate weekly communication with vendors or operational partners to ensure alignment on tasks, quality, and improvement opportunities Build strategies for clients each quarter Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns Provide fractional support for internal marketing at Directive Deeply understand client positioning and unique value propositions Confirm lead routing is accurate within a CRM Maintain personal productivity and utilization Work directly with the Associate Director to meet internal and client goals Understand the value of Programmatic campaigns Drive cross‑sells, upsells and referrals via client relationships and professional network Execute and optimize advertising campaigns within LinkedIn, including ad copywriting, TAM development, and targeting to maximize ROI What You Offer 4+ years experience at a performance/digital marketing agency, supporting B2B clients Deep expertise across paid social advertising campaigns, specifically LinkedIn Ads Understanding of different ad units within LinkedIn such as conversation ads, document ads, CTV and more Proficiency with LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Zoominfo, 6Sense, and other advertising tools Ability to delegate to junior team members for joint success Strong grasp of paid principles, including keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization Data‑driven campaign analysis using Google Analytics, GA4, Excel, or other platforms Ability to drive results and measure via OCT Experience with audience segmentation by tier, job title, etc. Proven measurable success with mid‑market or enterprise accounts Strong storytelling with data and strategy articulation Competitive, curious, and a true problem solver Stays on the cutting edge of the industry; seeks growth and sharing opportunities Can organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously Quality‑obsessed and maintains high standards in advertising Travel to visit clients approximately once per year, as needed What Success Looks Like You embody our core values in every interaction, internally and externally Effectively manage approximately five mid‑tier and enterprise accounts Meet and exceed department KPIs, including client NSMs and Satisfaction scores Build client trust and relationships that yield consistent renewals Drive cross‑sell services aligned with client goals Communicate results clearly with client point of contact and executives Make exceptional strategic decisions for account direction Benefits Set living wage in the U.S.; base salary range $85,000–$95,000 USD (actual may vary) Medical, dental, vision plans, disability and life insurance for you and eligible dependents, with a 100% employer‑paid plan for you and 50% contribution for dependents Mental health support – access to certified therapists via Spring Health, Headspace membership Physical health – physical therapy through Omada, fertility support, Aaptiv virtual workouts, One Medical membership Time off – unlimited PTO (at least 2 weeks), paid company holidays, birthday off, annual recharge, paid parental leave Financial – 401(k) Roth and Traditional with 3% company match Bonus – annual performance bonus based on tenure that scales over time Work Environment Requirements As a remote‑first company, you’ll work from anywhere in the U.S., with the option to use our Irvine, California offices.
