Job Responsibilities: 5+ years in an editorial department or newsroom role Great communication skills and comfort working directly with editors Excellent journalistic judgment and integrity Excellent grasp of visual and typographical hierarchy Knowledge of news, politics, finance Ability to thrive in a fast-paced newsroom–juggling hourly, daily, and weekly deadlines Experience assigning and art directing illustration An existing network of artists with the ability to identify fresh and emerging talent The ability to distill data into easily digestible visualizations and walk readers through complex information in an engaging way Skills: Adobe CC expertise Basic HTML + CSS, other applicable web languages related to data Visualization At ease working in a digital CMS, e.g., Wordpress Experience with Figma is a plus Experience with Methode or other print-related CMS is a plus Interest in and understanding of the financial world is a plus Deep newsroom experience Experience in publication design department (no junior roles) An assertive, production orientated go getter Education/Experience: No Specific Qualification #J-18808-Ljbffr
