Position Summary
The Digital Design Manager leads the digital arm of an in-house creative studio that supports end-to-end campaign, e-commerce, and content production for all brands in the McCormick portfolio. This role ensures digital outputs are high-quality, on brand, and optimized for the platforms they live on.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a team of designers responsible for digital campaign creative, paid and organic media assets, site content updates, e-commerce design and retail assets.
Partner with producers, copywriters, brand managers and business leads to deliver 360 integrated digital experiences.
Oversee and design with the team during the adaptation and creative execution of digital assets across paid and organic channels, retailer search, and digital brand guidelines.
Manage daily intake and capacity planning across digital deliverables.
Drive optimization of workflows, templates, and documentation for the digital team.
Secondary Responsibilities
Ensures designs adhere to brand systems and digital guidelines.
Translates briefs into clear visual direction and efficient design pathways.
Gives timely, actionable feedback to support growth and craft refinement.
Supports project scoping, timeline estimation, and deliverable planning.
Tracks progress, manages deadlines, and ensures predictable workflow operations.
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Art & Design – Concentration in Graphic Arts, or Related Fields
8–10 years digital design experience with strong executional chops.
Expert in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and digital production tools.
Strong knowledge of digital media specs, platform variances, and creative best practices.
Ability to manage high-volume production while maintaining design excellence.
Excellent people management and creative review skills.
Manages shared libraries, component systems, and documentation.
Ensures efficient asset organization and version control practices
Builds a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance team culture.
Coaches designers in career and skill development.
Presents work confidently and articulates rationale behind design decisions.
Strong problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal/influence, collaboration and organizational skills to manage input from cross-functional teams
Manages shared libraries, component systems, and documentation.
Ensures efficient asset organization and version control practices.
Well-versed in Microsoft 365 software(preferred)
Experience using project management/workflow tools(preferred)
CPG experience is a plus (preferred)
As a general policy, McCormick does not offer employment visa sponsorships upon hire or in the future.
Base Salary: $103,520 - 181,150.
Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
