Social/Video Producer (Part-Time) Dotdash Meredith PEOPLE is seeking a talented social/video producer to create and program engaging, dynamic video content for TikTok and Instagram during awards season (Saturday‑Monday, January‑March). They will also assist in programming static content across all platforms to drive traffic during part of their shift. The ideal candidate is social‑media savvy, an avid user and observer of industry trends, with strong news judgment, video editing and production skills, creative thinking, and a deep understanding of social media strategies and industry trends. The role requires generating viral wins for the brand, harnessing PEOPLE’s loyal audience while attracting new followers, and being familiar with internet culture and the news cycle. Excellent communication skills, a passion for entertainment, pop culture and online trends, impeccable writing skills, and meticulous attention to detail are essential. The position may demand special hours for awards shows and other major live events. Must be proficient in Adobe Premiere and Photoshop, with past experience programming TikTok and Instagram for a news brand. A minimum of 2‑3 years of experience is required; experience at a national news brand is preferred. Location: New York City or Los Angeles preferred; remote allowed (U.S.). Pay: $32‑$35 per hour.
