GPD is a nationally accredited law enforcement agency that provides a full range of high-quality law enforcement services through a departmental philosophy of community-oriented policing. As a growing, progressive agency, GPD continuously implements innovative techniques and methods to protect and serve the Greenville community. GPD currently employs approximately 200 sworn officers and over 50 civilian employees who serve with the utmost professionalism in the various bureaus, divisions, and units.
Starting annual salary: $52,436.80- $57,678.40, depending on experience. Salary after successful completion of 6-month probationary period: $55,057.60 - $60,569.60, depending on starting salary.
