Position Overview
Salary Range: $60,000-$73,600
This position will support Cheyenne Mountain Resort’s marketing efforts by developing digital marketing and e‑Commerce programs, with the primary goal of increasing conversions and revenue on Hyatt.com. Digital marketing efforts include: search engine marketing (PPC and SEO), mobile marketing, display advertising, e‑mail marketing, corporate channel marketing, and strategic social media planning. The role also oversees e‑Commerce activity, including strategic management of the hotel’s website, apps and mini‑sites.
The Marketing Manager works closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing to bring initiatives to life within the resort’s marketing plans. The plans include objectives, strategies, and tactics for each market segment (group, weddings, leisure) and outlets (restaurants). The ultimate goal is to heighten market presence, increase awareness, strengthen brand loyalty, maintain consistent brand imagery, increase market share, and produce increased revenues and profitability.
Job Functions & Responsibilities
Collaborate with key departments to create, orchestrate, and promote all resort events and activities.
Engage and manage outside contractors and third‑party activities for enhanced guest experiences.
Work with the Director of Sales and Marketing to develop and execute annual social media marketing plans, ensuring alignment with commercial targets and brand positioning.
Oversee all brand, digital, and marketing activity across designated channels.
Collaborate with Hyatt Field Marketing to deliver the resort’s marketing strategy.
Manage content creation for social media (paid and organic), ensuring posts are on‑brand, timely, and within budget.
Manage the digital agency partnership to implement targeted campaigns that drive brand awareness and commercial results.
Conduct ongoing market research to stay attuned to culinary trends, guest dining behaviors, and competitor activity.
Build strong local connections through influencer engagement and strategic partnerships.
Support overall commercial goals of the Sales & Marketing department.
Track campaign performance and manage marketing budgets to optimize ROI.
Support the Director of Sales and Marketing in creating the resort’s annual marketing plan.
Respond to guest reviews across all platforms.
Coordinate data for monthly owner reporting.
Assist with the RFP process for public relations and/or branding agencies.
Ensure consistent brand image through collateral, signage, and resort design.
Qualifications
The Marketing Manager will need to be strong in all aspects of digital marketing and social media marketing and will promote awareness and maintain a positive brand image of the resort and outlets on a local, regional, and national level through consistent and targeted marketing and digital campaigns. The role works closely with Hyatt Corporate Marketing teams to ensure the hotel’s brand positioning, compelling messaging, and accurate insights and reporting. This position is on‑property and requires a flexible schedule to capture and initiate guest experience content.
Requirements
3-5 years of experience in marketing, communications, and brand management within the hospitality industry; hotel experience strongly considered.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva.
Skill in multi‑channel campaigns.
Proven ability to develop and execute impactful social marketing strategies and collaborate on wider‑reaching goals.
Creative thinker with sharp eye for brand storytelling and visual identity.
Highly organized, proactive, analytical, and results‑driven.
Strong communicator thriving in cross‑functional, collaborative environments.
Experience working with agencies, media partners, and influencers.
Strong creative skills for creating, curating, and managing engaging content across various social media platforms.
Experience in responding to online comments, developing discussions, and fostering a positive community.
Proven experience managing social media platforms for a brand, understanding best practices and trends.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience managing a third‑party digital agency for paid media strategy.
Proficiency in print and digital production.
