Role Description
HSLD is seeking an immediate full-time Social Media Manager to lead and scale our digital presence as demand rapidly increases. This role is ideal for a creative, strategic, and highly motivated professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a passion for sports culture, storytelling, and digital innovation.
The manager will oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of content across platforms, ensuring high-quality, engaging digital experiences that drive growth, visibility, and athlete impact. This position begins with an entry-level salary, but offers significant opportunities for rapid growth, compensation expansion, and performance-based earnings as the company scales. In addition, HSLD offers monetization and revenue-sharing opportunities tied to content performance and client acquisition, rewarding measurable results and creative impact.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), and TikTok
Oversee content calendars, messaging consistency, and posting cadence for all platforms
Collaborate with creative specialists to build high-impact visual content
Track analytics, interpret performance data, and optimize for growth
Identify and implement emerging trends, formats, and platform shifts
Drive brand awareness, engagement, and audience development
Elevate client/athlete content to maximize exposure and brand equity
Manage day-to-day operations of HSLD digital channels
Work with leadership to align social output with business objectives
Participate in daily virtual meetings with the content team
Qualifications
Proven experience managing brand or organizational social media accounts ( prior social media management experience preferred )
Strong marketing instincts , including audience understanding and brand positioning
Ability to identify, track, and implement platform trends and emerging strategies
Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment
Ability to work independently, initiate projects, and drive outcomes without constant oversight
Strong sports background or understanding of sports culture and language
Strategic mindset with the ability to translate insights into action
Must be a "numbers junkie" — highly analytical, data-driven, and motivated by measurable growth
Preferred (not required)
Ability to manage or update websites or LinkedIn profiles
Experience leading teams or collaborative creative projects
Skills in content editing, videography, or graphic design
Familiarity with short-form video platforms and trends (TikTok, Reels, Shorts)
Previous work in athlete branding, sports media, or related industries
