Job Summary / Description
Western Mass News is seeking an organized and creative professional to lead digital/broadcast sales efforts as Multimedia Sales Manager. This role works closely with the Director of Sales to drive business development and champion digital sales.
Duties / Responsibilities
Drive digital revenue growth and ensure digital budgets and goals are met or exceeded, focusing on new local direct business.
Provide digital training to the sales team.
Recruit, hire, and onboard sales representatives.
Assist multimedia executives in presenting and closing digital business.
Develop sales presentations and collateral using up-to-date research materials.
Maintain campaign tracking, delivery, and reporting to ensure campaign success.
Oversee digital pricing and revenue forecasting.
Promote a positive, winning culture.
Collaborate with digital advertising consultants and advertisers at a consultative level.
Work with the Director of Sales on revenue generation strategy and forecasting.
Oversee all digital sales products, inventory management, and pricing strategies.
Qualifications / Requirements
Strong leadership skills and highly organized.
Ability to hold team members accountable to budgets and goals while supporting their success.
Ability to translate and communicate problems into opportunities.
Presentation experience with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and people, and manage time wisely.
Strong computer skills – proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, social media, etc.
Minimum of two years of digital sales experience.
Salary / Wage
$80,000 - $105,000 per year (depending on experience)
Shift and Schedule
Mon – Fri, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
