Overview POSITION AVAILABLE — Manager; Agency Relations (Eastern Region: East Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina)
The Manager; Agency Relations is responsible for driving growth and expanding the company's market presence. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential agencies and understanding their needs, and collaborating with internal teams to develop strategies that align with the company's goals.
Key Responsibilities Agency Relationship Management : Identify, appoint, and cultivate strong partnerships with independent insurance agencies and brokers across our Core states.
Market Penetration : Develop and execute regional business development strategies to grow the company’s footprint in underserved or high-opportunity markets.
Sales Execution : Drive production of new business by promoting our value proposition, underwriting appetite, and service advantages to agency partners.
Training & Support : Provide education and product training to agency staff to strengthen understanding of our workers’ compensation products, claims process, and risk control services.
Data-Driven Decision Making : Analyze agency performance and market trends to identify areas of improvement and opportunity.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with underwriting, claims, audit, and risk control teams to ensure seamless delivery of service and solutions.
Travel : Frequent travel (50–70%) throughout the Southeast to meet with agencies, attend industry events, and conduct field visits.
