Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Store Address: 4501 W 135th St, Crestwood, IL 60418
Essential Duties
Work independently to manage daily property operations.
Provide exceptional service to customers, answering inquiries, assisting with storage needs, and processing rental agreements.
Maximize sales objectives through unit rentals, insurance, and moving supplies.
Process payments, issue receipts, and manage delinquent accounts, including collection efforts.
Conduct cash drawer audits and execute bank deposits as per company policies.
Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with a focus on safety and maximizing units available for rent.
Job Qualifications
Valid driver’s license required.
Cash handling experience preferred.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Basic computer knowledge.
Ability to multitask.
Experience in sales.
Physical Requirements
Conduct property walks often during shifts.
Spend about 50% of time outdoor, including walking, climbing stairs, opening large doors.
Maintain cleanliness and appearance: inspections, sweeping, mopping, changing light bulbs.
Transport lift/move items up to 35 pounds.
May be required to run errands and travel/commute to other store locations.
Average Day As a Property Manager, your day will be dynamic and diverse. You will start by preparing for opening, ensuring everything is clean and in working order, verifying the cash drawer count, and conducting a property walk through. Throughout the day, you will assist customers in finding the right storage solutions, handle rental agreements, process payments, and address concerns. In between interactions, you will perform regular inspections, check maintenance needs, and ensure safety and security. You may also engage in virtual meetings, collaborative projects, and training. Closing procedures conclude your day, ensuring the property is secure. The role offers five days a week, no Sundays, off by 6pm, allowing time for personal pursuits.
