Your Tasks
Establish processes to ensure compliance with Brose’s customs and foreign trade regulations under a defined Trade Compliance Program. Coordinate with customs officials, customer brokers, and internal contacts. Procure services to support customs and foreign trade activities. Develop and monitor Foreign Trade Zone activities in the region, including defining mitigation practices based on legal precedence or opinions. Identify and implement best practices and opportunities for regional plants. Provide logistics strategies to minimize financial impacts related to tariffs on serial production and imported production equipment. Identify and process PSCs or cost recoveries under FTAs. Ensure IMMEX compliance in Mexico in support of the Mexico Foreign Trade team. Monitor and ensure compliance related to Foreign Trade Zones in the region. Develop best practice standards for plants regarding programs such as C-TPAT. Establish processes for part classification to maintain the integrity of the SAP system. Your Profile
Experience in Supply Chain Management, Transportation, and Customs. Certified Customs Specialist (CCS). Certified Export Specialist. Knowledge of customs procedures and Incoterms. Experience in foreign trade, specifically in the automotive industry. Experience with financial transactions such as invoicing, income statements, A/P, and A/R.
