Freelance Animator – Financial Explainer Join a forward-thinking wealth technology company to create a high-impact, emotionally engaging two-minute explainer video for the financial advisory sector. This project centers on transforming a provided voiceover, script, draft storyboard, and brand assets into a compelling visual narrative that communicates the challenges facing financial advisors and clients, and introduces an innovative "system of intelligence" designed to bring clarity and confidence to the industry. The ideal candidate will bring a conceptual, modern approach to motion design, utilizing storytelling, metaphors, and dynamic visuals to illustrate transformation and value. You will collaborate closely with a supportive team, contribute creative input to enhance the storyboard and pacing, and ensure timely delivery of all assets for both web and investor presentations. Responsibilities Develop a two-minute explainer video based on provided script, voiceover, storyboard, and brand assets Craft a visual narrative that clearly communicates industry challenges and the benefits of the new solution Apply conceptual and modern motion design techniques, focusing on storytelling and metaphor rather than literal UI Implement feedback from stakeholders and iterate on visual direction as needed Deliver final video files, project files, and optional short cutdowns for social media use Maintain reliable communication and adhere to agreed project timelines Skills And Requirements Proven experience in motion design, particularly for explainer or conceptual videos Strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling, visual metaphor, and modern design sensibility Proficiency with industry-standard motion graphics software (e.g., After Effects, Cinema 4D, Adobe Creative Suite) Ability to interpret scripts and storyboards, and suggest creative improvements Excellent communication skills and responsiveness to feedback Experience delivering projects for technology or financial services clients is a plus Ability to provide all final assets and project files upon completion Availability to start promptly and commit to project deadlines About Twine Twine is a leading freelance marketplace connecting top freelancers, consultants, and contractors with companies needing creative and tech expertise.
